This is a terrible crossing for anyone travelling east-west by bicycle. Infrastructure for safe cycling is minimal and is largely ignored by motorists. The ASL access lane on the east side is used for vehicle parking and both ASLs are typically occupied by vehicles. Continuous, unidirectional, protected cycle lanes are needed between Rosendale Road and the South Circular.
