To the west of South Bermondsey the route continues on a new bridge across the Rotherhithe New Road; to the east the route seems to be closed except when Millwall FC are playing at home.

Dead-end at South Bermondsey station - until the route to the right to the Millwall FC ground is opened up the new Sustrans Connect2 bridge over Rotherhithe New Road isn't a lot of use.
